My wife went to the emergency department seeking help for a severe dry cough that she’s been suffering from for over two weeks. Instead of receiving care or compassion, she was met with extreme rudeness from both the doctor and the nurse. They dismissed her condition as “not an emergency” and told her to go find another emergency department or see a family doctor. It was shocking and unacceptable to see medical professionals behave this way, especially in an emergency setting where patients go because they are in distress and need help. My wife left the hospital feeling humiliated and uncared for. No one deserves to be treated that way when seeking medical attention. I sincerely hope the hospital takes action to ensure their staff treat patients with basic respect and professionalism in the future.

I had a terrible experience with this emergency doctor. I came in after struggling with a dry cough for weeks that kept me from sleeping at all. I even took a day off work hoping to finally get some real help. Unfortunately, the doctor barely spent a minute with me, didn’t listen to my symptoms, and made no effort to provide any care or relief. When I expressed concern, he simply said, “I’d be happy to find another doctor for you,” instead of trying to help me. I left feeling completely dismissed and frustrated. After weeks of suffering, I expected at least some compassion and attention, but instead I felt rushed out like I didn’t matter. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

This man contributed to events that traumatized me and altered my life at the age of 17 years old, only about a month after my birthday. I will never forgive him for allowing me to experience psychiatric abuse as a minor.
