Dr. Atul Kumar Khanna, MD

This guy asks zero questions and shares zero information to new parents. Not helpful at all. Seems disinterested and comes across as if he’s in a hurry. I can only imagine the let down if you really need his help in a situation. Avoid at all costs.

Whenever I bring my kids to see this doctor he gives a vibe that he doesn't really care and is in a rush. Very dismissive. Recently my wife took my 1 year old to see him for possible ear infection and he jus told her it was the flu. Later on she took him to the emergency because he was having trouble breathing and the emergency doctor diagnosed him with otitis media and and a respiratory virus infection. Dr. Khanna didn't even run any test and just sent my wife home. If he can't do the job he's been paid to do, maybe it's time he retired.

I had an inkling that what was happening with my daughter was not normal-- that her condition was in fact getting worse, and that she possibly had an infection. I emailed him multiple times and event sent pictures of my areas of concern. Each time I was dismissed-- to the point where in my final email he simply copied and pasted his response from a previous email. After that I immediately dropped him as my daughter's pediatrician. When I met with our current pediatrician she immediately said "she looks infected and we need to get this under control". It would have been nice if Dr. Khanna would have cared enough to give us the 5 minutes it took for the current pediatrician to look at her and have a test done.

He appeared bored and disengaged. He didn't seem interested in really checking out our newborn. Lackluster bedside manner.
