So many mistakes, oversights, and mishandling of my mom’s case while she was at St. Joseph’s Hospital for nine days. He didn’t order necessary tests which delayed her surgery, didn’t communicate important information to specialists, didn’t respond to requests from nurses to approve needed meds/blood after surgery, and even now we sit here for over an hour waiting to be released because of a button he forgot to push to release her meds to be taken at home. Horribly handled.

This Doctor is good bedside manner however, I waited over an hour to see him. He is not thorough. I specifically asked for an annual exam appointment and also mentioned to Dr. Shah that I'm here for an annually exam. He never listen to my heart rate, never checked my ears or noise. I had to asked for a mammogram, asked for full blood test. I went home and realized he never gave me an EKG. I made a second appointment to have an EKG done, but I waited 2 1/2hrs before I get to see him. What I could not understand is...the office was not busy, there was no reason I had to wait 2 1/2hrs. Short stuff, it seems his receptionist does multi-task. I'm not sure if she is qualify to do some of these task. She answers phone, sign in patient, drew my blood, she even did my EKG.

I have been seeing Dr. Shah for over 5 yrs. Any time I need him he is there. always has time to listen to me.He really cares.He is excellent
