Dr. Atul A Walia, DO

I was chastised about not having a PCP prior to my sudden neck issue that ultimately (& unfortunately) lead me to him. I was treated like a drug seeker instead of a patient. I received no help. He essentially wasted nearly a month of my time, as that's how long I waited to go see him for absolutely nothing. I would not recommend him to anyone. My experience with him today was horrible. No healthcare professional should treat a patient the way he treated me.

I felt he was not a good physician ,and did not seem very intersted in my concern .he has a quiet demeanor so that may be the Reason .... He made me suffer 2 months after I saw him I had neck surgery . he told me nothing wrong I have an addiction problem .

I've been seeing Dr. Walia for about 6 months. He is the best pain management doctor I've ever had because he tries to treat and correct what's causing you the pain not just push pills at you. He is pleasurable and always asks "is there any other way I can help you?" After we discuss a current problem. I've had two rounds of occipital nerve blocks done by him and going in for RFA nerve abatement next month. Go see him. Yes he runs late but that's because he doesn't rush his patients!! He treats me like a real person and cares about the pain his patients are in. Make the appointment now!!! You won't regret it!!

Dr. Walia has been nothing but kind and he seems to care a lot about his patients. I really appreciate his knowledge about back problems and how to deal with them.

He takes time, great bedside manner. Would highly recommend him!

Excellent doctor and very caring. He is more into procedures than pain meds and that is exactly what I wanted.

Dr. Walia is a very capable and knowledgeable physician, but his office staff is horrible. They are very unorganized and frustrating to deal with and just them alone have tempted to switch.

I have seen a few other pain management physicians in OKC and can honestly say that Dr. Atul Walia is by far the best. He listens to everything I have to say. He gives me options and most of all realizes that there are multiple different factors involved in chronic pain. He wants to address them all not just treat it with a pain medication. I really respect that which showed me he is the right doctor for me.

Entire staff very comforting. The doctor was what I call "Real", he listened and treated me like a human that had every reason to be in pain and was more than willing to help me through the process of pain management.
