Dr. Audra Timmins

Dr. Timmins was my doctor for my successful VBA2C in 2013. She was always calm, and left choices with my pregnancy up to me. She did not attend my delivery, but checked in with me throughout my extended hospitalization and managed my care.

Dr. Timmins is the best OB I have ever had. She is very laid-back and keeps you calm through the entire experience. True she did not actually deliver my children, however she tells you this from the very beginning, which is why you are advised to see all the doctors in the practice. They do this so that the doctor that is in the hospital that day is the one delivering babies. This way when you come in for an appointment you aren't made to wait for hours while your OB runs to a delivery. Unfortunately the office staff and ease of obtaining an appointment are difficult. With my last pregnancy I was able to see Dr. Timmins with every appointment, but that was in large part due to my very flexible schedule. Now my schedule is not nearly as flexible and I am having to seek a doctor elsewhere.

She stripped my membranes without asking me first and she did not even tell me she did it afterward. It was the nurse who told me after Dr. Timmins had already left the exam room. I was not aware even what that was at the time I just knew that that it caused sudden contractions. This is method for inducing labor which I did not want. Also, I had some of my OB appointments with another provider who was much more gentle and had a better bedside manner. The facility itself is great and there are other doctors who are excellent. I will NEVER go back to her.

After much research, I thought Dr. Timmins was the most respected Dr. in town and went to her when I was pregnant with my first child. What a huge mistake!!! I regret to the day! Seriously, she is bad beyond I can describe here. I have never seen such a heartless person. She is just after your money. I had a normal pregnancy and as the due date approached, she insisted that I get induced. She scheduled the induction and didnt even show up. I dont know why she was in such a rush because I could have easily waited couple more days. I delivered on the exact due date but that's just a calculated date and often time with first pregnancy you do go a little over the 40 weeks. So worst thing is she doesnt show up, next all the other doctors are residents so in training...people that I never met through the 9 months visit. Labor is the most critical time of the entire process and she decided not to be there and leave me with strangers who are not pleasant to deal with at all. The delivery was… such a nightmare, I somehow injured my tailbone in the process and have pain still 1 year later. So she doesn't come the day my son is born but could have come the next day but still she doesn't. One week later, I am admitted again to the same hospital due to fever and called her office to see if can come but her response...not available on weekends. How Sad!! Later to schedule I call her up but her staff says she is too busy to see you. She knew what I went through and still couldnt spare a few minutes of her time to see me. She just doesnt care about her patients period. I never rate doctors but for her I wanted too. I dont want anyone else to experience the same grief. Please do yourself a favor and find another doctor!

Ask for explanation of all test results immediately....avoid delay in critical treatment

Dr. Timmins told me that I could not hacve kids, but I was pregnant at the time of the diagnosis. She neglected to examine me properly and called me after I left three messages with her office staff. Even after I called to tell them I was misdiagnosed, she never called me. She is inconsiderate and a lousy doctor in my personal opinion.
