Dr. August Constantine Pasquale III, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Pasquale for twenty years and have had two eye surgeries performed by him as well as my regular check-ups. He pays close attention to detail and is the best vision doctor I have ever had. I am 75 and have had several practitioners over the years.

Office is clean and orderly. Staff is polite and efficient, friendly but not overly so; there is no assumed informality. Dr. Pasquale is exceptional. He found some unusual things in one eye, took lots of time in identifying and recording what he found. He explained the issues to me in straightforward language, and was neither condescending nor patronizing. He took all the time I needed to get my questions answered. He prescribed two additional tests to help him determine whether what is in that eye could cause problems down the road; the office staff truly bent over backwards and jumped through hoops to get me in ASAP for those tests so that I would not have to be waiting and waiting and waiting for an answer on my eye health. Despite their best efforts, the tests are currently scheduled for 4 weeks apart, with a follow-up visit with Dr. Pasquale AFTER the second test so that we could discuss the test findings.After the first test, the technician who administered it told me that… if I did not hear from Dr. Pasquale, I could always call him to ask what the test indicated. But given that I had a follow-up visit scheduled, I thought he probably could not determine much from test #1, and needed the second test to get a complete picture of the issues at hand.With that in mind, I was gobsmacked when Dr. Pasquale called me two days after the first test to tell me exactly what the test indicated, the test's reliability, how he will use this test's results with the results of the next test, etc. He worked hard to put my mind at ease, and as he did in person, spent as much time as I needed to ensure that I felt comfortable with what I had learned.I would recommend Dr. Pasquale to anyone who needs an opthalmologist. I now feel I am spoiled, and could never, ever see anyone else.

Office staff is not caring - don't care whether they retain patients. Office hours are not friendly to working folks - no early hours and no late hours.Dr. Pasquale is courteous (but often late for the first appt) and caring. His follow up after surgery was good.

Very professional staff. Excellent results and an outstanding staff!
