Dr. Augustine John Ryan JR., MD

I see Dr Ryan at ECMC- this is a nightmare. Do not plan to get in to see him in less than 4 hours from your stated appointment time, no matter when you actually show up. This is because this is a clinic, and they see a lot of people for a lot of issues. Dr. Ryan is worth the wait, however. He is professional, friendly, extremely intelligent, and will listen to every medical complaint you have in order to diagnose you. He will offer advice on those things as well as your current predicament. He will have a student with him at all times, and the explanations for the student are clear enough for me to follow, and I am not in the medical profession. His billing staff are incompetent. They will not send you a bill, and they will send the wrong tax id to the insurance company, making you liable for hundreds of dollars. They will do this over and over again. They will not tell you in the office if they do not participate in your plan. Even if they do, they will bill you incorrectly. This will… be a nightmare. Get your ducks in a row.
