Dr. Aurindom Narayan, MD

I have been Aurindom Narayan's patient for over two years. He is not what I would call a warm person, but he is capable and takes time with his patients. Today I had blood work done and the technician put such a sloppy dressing on the site that I later bled on the counter. The woman behind the counter coldly told me to go back to the person who drew blood. But this person was with another patient, so I took care of myself in the restroom with my own band aide. There I overheard this staff member fret over the spilled blood, criticizing me for “not paying attention”. I came out and expressed disbelief that I would be blamed for this, and she railed at me again and again for my attitude. Her voice was raised. Terrible experience! Stuff of nightmares. I am filing complaints with my insurance company and The Florida Medical Board. It is a serious matter when a patient feels unsafe in a doctor’s office. We come to a doctor seeking support for our health, not to be belittled… and hurt. I might also add that Narayan's office is a dismal looking place. There are litter and weeds outside the door, and a waiting room that shouts neglect. Indicative of how they feel about their patients?

She said I had "an attitude" right from the beginning of my visit, and we hadn't even had contact! Terrible experience! Stuff of nightmares. I have made several attempts to speak with Dr. Narayan regarding my family member. His office staff are very very unprofessional and rude. They answer the phone as though they are at their homes. They refuse to give you their names or titles, and I doubt very seriously if they pass any messages to the doctor regarding your love one. They are also very good at disconnecting your call when questioned. One of them even has the audacity to scream and yell at you on the phone and I'm pretty sure the doctor has heard this. There is no way she can carry on like that and not be heard considering the size of the office. He also seems very unconcerned when informed of his office staff behavior and even appears to justify their behavior when informed about it. . They are never able to follow through the care they provide to your love one or communicate with other medical staff to provide a care plan that is in the best interest of the customers. The front office staff appears to have all the… authority in the office and I have never encountered anyone like them before in a health care setting. They should all attend a customer service class before signing on any new patients.

Today, had to cancel my initial appointment with Dr. Narayan after driving to the office for 30 minutes. The office workers got upset with me because I brought a list of medication with me instead of the actual bottles with tablets. I promised to bring the bottles next time. They give me ppwk, so I went to the waiting room to fill it out. In a couple minutes, another office worker in her skinny jeans on high hills came to me and in a rude manner, approached me and started blaming me for coming to the first appointment without my medication. I was shocked by her behavior and approach, so I asked for her name, but she ignored me. Then, I ask if I could cancel my appointment if I caused so much trouble. In return, she pull the board with the ppwk out of my hands and left. On the way back, she told to other workers about me and they all started laughing. I came back to the front desk and asked the front desk lady if I could see the doctor for a moment before I leave, but she said, " No, … he is with another patient." In a moment, Dr. Narayan came out of the room. I tried to explain to him what just happened , but it looked like to me that he did not care either. I did not find any support there, so I left. They all should be ashamed of their behavior! Unacceptable customer service for the medical office! Very unpleasant experience. I would never go back and won't recommend them to anyone. A very professional, caring doctor.

Dr. Narayan was the best physician I have ever been to in my entire life. He was helpful and always very understanding. His staff were very generous and ready to help me during my visit. I honestly recommend him to anyone looking for a high quality knowledgeable physician. He is truly the best there is.

Dr. Narayan was honestly one of the best physicians I have ever been to. He was kind, caring, and very considerate of ALL my needs. His staff were excellent and very cooperative. I really think he is the best physician in this region. I recommend him to all.

This is my mother's MD. On our initial visit we were at the office approximately 2 hours - this time was spent with Dr. Narayan. He took his time with my mother, and was never in a rushed manner. He listened to all her concerns and seemed genuinely concerned. We have been there now a total of 3 times and have not had a problem with the staff or the wait time.

I am 53 and Dr. Adverse as are many men. This is probably the best General Practioner that I have ever met. He is extremely Knowledgeable and spends a lot of time explaining things ( without Having to be asked). He explains things in laymans terms so you can understand it. He is Non-judgemental and has an excellent bedside manner. He succesfully diagnosed issues I have had for years and was spot on the first time. He is not a Pill dispenser so if your shopping for Narcotics your out of luck. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Narayan.If you are looking for a First Class Dr. for yourself or your family you can't go wrong with this guy. He is First Class.
