Dr. Aurora Zertuche Sanchez

I made one of the biggest mistakes of my life when I chose to make an appt with "Dr" Zertuche for my baby boy. As my son has always been extremely healthy and typical I decided to book his 12 mo check up with any Dr who would have availability and be close to my new home. This person, because I refuse to call her a Dr. Worried me sick about milestones because my son (and I'll quote her) wouldn't bring me his shoes when requested. First of all I'd never requested his shoes, second I'd never met a 12 mo who could do that.. for sure there must be but by all means is not the norm. Her lack of knowledge, capacity and common sense was frightening. As he wasn't really pointing by that age (he started doing it by 13 mo) and he was focusing in walking hence he was babbling less... she worried me sick with autism (yes, first time in her life she was seeing my son and for a total of 3 minutes) so without even contemplating how advance he was in all the other milestones, how social he was and how… good was his eye contact she suggested to call Early intervention. To wrap up this nasty story, EI called me and basically laughed about this and told me that by all means my son would not qualify as he was doing everything age appropriate in fact he was quite advance, and now.. 2 months later, by 14 mo he has caught up with everything and he is a happy little kid who as any other kid, will do things in his own time because every human being is different, something for sure a Dr should know before scaring a parent with some baseless opinion that only comes from ignorance. So I beg you, please research your Drs before making an appt, society tends to over trust Medicine professionals but they are only humans with their own capacities and agenda, not everybody is good or trustworthy, and even if it's just for a simple check up they can mess up your life with their ignorance.

I am very picky when it come to my children's doctor. I am glad to say that I have found a very loving and caring doctor! She is very thorough and loves to maintain parents informed! You can see that she truly loves her profession. She is just AWESOME all around!!!
