Austin Rivett, DO

Dr Rivett helped as I went through a critical illness. He is always ready to listen and gives exceptional care as a doctor. I’ve referred plenty of people his way.

Dr. Rivett is an outstanding doctor. He is intuitive and thoughtful yet very clinical in his approach. so far all of his written scripts have been accurate and his diagnosis have been spot on. He is now with Methodist Health System

I first met Dr. Rivett in 2007. I was very sick and I had been misdiagnosed by another physician. He hospitalized me upon arrival. He made sure I got the best care possible and he stayed on my case until he diagnosed my illness. He has since move to another hospital affiliation and I followed him! He is persistent and I think he is awesome.

I originally went to see Dr. Rivett for some odd symptoms. He told me he wanted an MRI done, which I tried for two weeks to get him and his staff to schedule - that was a disastrous interaction and I should have known better to continue with him. The MRI showed that it was a brain tumor and he 'felt so bad that it took so long'; however, I never heard another word from him for follow-up. I then went for a Lumbar Puncture to determine malignancy and I waited for over a month to get the results from Dr. Rivett. I had to go to another Alegent Dr. to get the results back, and I have yet to hear back from Dr. Rivett. Absolutely deplorable! I supposed if you have a cough, he'd be happy to prescribe meds, but anything more, don't waste your time!!

I couldn't be happier with Dr. Rivett. He has helped me and my daughter for several years now. He is very quick to isolate my problems and quickly helps me get back to 100%. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Rivett is a down to earth lovable guy! I like going to see him because he is easy going and has a great sense of humor. Keep up the great work!
