The most genuinely kind Doc ever. All of the people working here are polite and personable.

Very unprofessional. I’m a new patient who has had two appointments cancelled by the doctor. Every appointment day her office has called me to inform me the doctor won’t be available. This is not ok especially since taking off of work thinking I’m going to see the doctor on two different occasions. I was directed to go have X-rays which I paid for two weeks ago and I can’t see the doctor. So what am suppose to do. I have called and requested that she contact me personally. I chose this doctor because of her reviews which I’m finding out is all a lie. Thanks for being inconsiderate and having me spend money on X-rays you never intended to see.

Dr. Washko sincerely cares about her patients. Having witnessed first hand how she interacts and communicates with her patients is respectable of any doctor and a great example for others to follow. She also knows her stuff and able to effectively communicate what is happening and what needs to be done for the best result. Highly recommend Dr. Washko for any foot and ankle consultation.

Does not look at you. No follow-up on test results.

Has had to seek treatment for adderall and meth abuse. Has lost her privileges at Memorial Herman and other locations. Has pending lawsuits against her. Has threatened people with legal action should they mention anything. Any negative reviews are met with either cease and desist letters, complaints filed, or are paid to be removed. As a patient you need to protect yourself.

I was referred to Dr. Washko by one of my best friends and I can’t even begin to explain how blessed and lucky I feel to have been referred to her. Dr. Washko went out of her way to allow me to come into the office to be seen as she was able to access my x-rays and knew the severity of my injury. Even though I was referred to her by someone I completely trust I still didn’t know what to expect. Dr. Washko was patient and took the time to explain all possibilities of what the future treatment could or would entail. She truly listened to me and how and what type of pain I was experiencing. She didn’t just tell me what I wanted to hear either. She immediately told me the best and worse case scenario for treating my broken ankle. I truly respected the fact that she was willing to tell me the good and the bad and not just try and tell me the best case scenario and hope that is how it would end up. She made sure that I was prepared for all scenarios physically, emotionally and… financially. I was even more surprised that she truly cared about what I had to say and really listened to my input on the situation and how it was affecting my life. Dr. Washko explained that she had hopes to be able to just cast my ankle and not have to operate on my ankle but also sent me for imaging to make sure my injury healed correctly. As, soon as the imaging came back she immediately made her schedule available to review it with me and unfortunately she informed me that her fears were confirmed, I did in fact need surgery. I was petrified because I have never had surgery, yet her demeanor and amount of time that she took to explain it to me almost immediately relieved my anxiety as I knew then even more then I already did before that I was absolutely in the best care possible. On the day of surgery just like anyone who is having surgery for the first time (or even the 100th time I would assume) my anxiousness/anxiety was through the roof. Dr. Washko arrived early and took the time to reexplain the procedure so there was not a single aspect that I didn’t understand (this really helped calm me down). When I came too out of the anesthesia I was very confused and felt alone, until I looked down at my leg and saw the sweetest thing ever. Dr. Washko had taken the time to draw a smiley face with the tongue sticking out at me so that I would smile and know I was ok upon waking up. It has been a week since the surgery. Just like most people my mind has been racing with questions. Dr. Washko has never faltered in making sure every single time I reached out to her office that she answered all and any of my questions to my complete satisfaction (even if they where what I considered dumb questions). One thing I can say for sure is that I know for fact that I was truly blessed to have had a dear friend connect me with her. I don’t think any doctor (on the planet) could have done a better job taking care of me, managing my level of nervousness and making me feel like my health was her #1 concern. I will never be able to truly express into words how appreciative I am to Dr. Washko already. Even though I am still healing and have a long road ahead of me, I have 100% confidence that my continued treatment and recovery will be the absolutely the best possible care I could ever receive by any doctor in the world. I can tell you that I will never forget Dr. Washko for the rest of my life and will be eternally grateful for the time, patience and care she has dedicated to my wellbeing. It is absolutely undeniable that Dr. Washko cares about her patients health first and everything else will always come second to her!

I’ve seen Dr. Washko for two separate injuries. The second a badly separated fractured toe. Washko said I needed surgery as it was completely separated. 2 other Orthopaedic docs suggested a different treatment which I followed. 8 months later I’m NOW having to have surgery to to repair that toe. I should’ve followed her advice in the beginning.

I broke all five toes and shattered my big toe which required extensive surgery. she was fantastic throughout. I would highly recommend her

This is the most compassionate and brilliant doctor I have ever had the good fortune to meet. No one else gave me hope to have a full active life again and she didn't just give me hope, she gave me my life back !! She is kind and goes the extra mile above and beyond what any other professional has ever done on my behalf - she is great !!
