In the 2 years that I have been Dr. Rao's patient she has always fully explained all of my treatments and answered every question. I appreciate her kindness and the care she has given me.

When I sat down with Dr. Avani Rao for the first time, she gently and compassionately explained the whole process to me in a very honest and thoughtful way. She allowed me to have a dialog with her that made me feel safe, listened to, and an active participant. This continued throughout this challenging journey and still does. Not only that but she put together the most outstanding, warm, and compassionate team who were by my side and got me through some of my most difficult times. I saw how they respected Dr. Rao, each other, me, other patients, and worked with other teams. I am incredibly grateful and always will be. ~Laura

Dr. Rao and her team have been treating me for almost 5 years. Every one of them is terrific! Examinations are always pleasant. Questions are received graciously and they give Dr. Rao the opportunity to provide additional detail on the topic including emerging protocols she is aware of. Also she is genuinely concerned about your general health and well being, not just what aligns with her specialty.
