Dr. Avery Dean Goldberg, MD

I cracked a tooth in half this week and unfortunately the tooth could not be saved and I was referred to Dr. Goldberg's office by our primary dentist who we have had for 16 years. Dr. Goldberg was in no rush and took his time explaining the process for the tooth extraction and the options for replacement. The office staff was professional and provided the cost for each option and what insurance would cover and pay for and printed the pricing options so I could take them with me. The next day I scheduled the surgery for the following day and when I arrived I wasn't keep waiting for a long time which was really nice. In a very short time I was in the dentist chair and Angela was prepping me for the extraction. Within about 15 minutes Dr. Goldberg came in and reviewed the extraction process with me again and then began removing the tooth. Having a tooth removed is probably somewhat stressful for most all of us and I was a little surprised that I didn't have any pain… during the extraction. Within about 30 minutes I was out of the dentist chair and saying to myself "wow this a really smooth process". I want to mention the cost for the surgery was exactly what Dr. Goldberg's office quoted with no surprise upcharges or additional fees. There was a short recovery process and I was caught off guard and really surprised when I received a follow up call from Dr. Goldberg that night asking me how I was doing. You just don't hear much about a doctor following up with patients after hours these days and you can tell this Dr. cares about his patients and his practice reflects it. Jeff H...Winter Park
