Dr. Avery Elmer Harrison

Avery Harrison came in huffy from the start. Upset at his staff person for not moving quickly enough. During the numbing process for a filling he threw the tools down on my chest and asked for the hygienist to finish numbing me up. He came back seemed to be cooled off and began to talk to the assistant about the company dinner and how he didn't want to go-maybe only if corporate brass was there-but he felt he'd just head home and watch a husky football game instead of wasting his time (he doesn't even like the company he works for). During the cavity fill was instantly upset because I winced when he hit a nerve that still had feeling. We're talking a slight facial movement and light grunt. The look of irritation and disgust was impressive. The guys has problems. He stopped his work I asked him if he was frustrated, and he said "no, you're just high maintenance". I said hey you hit a sensitive spot on my tooth and I winced, I obviously felt it, no biggy, I'm just getting a… filling. He said "I KNOW SIR, I'VE BEEN DOING THIS 35 YEARS. IF ANYONE KNOWS ITS ME". After that he said they gave me 2x the numbing medication. Importantly enough, the dentist didn't even tell me they were giving me more than usual. I'm definitely not high maintenance. As a grown man being treated with disrespect, I can't imagine what he does to others who aren't confident enough to say something. As a result filed a complaint with the dental agency so they know. Angry guy. Not someone I want working on my teeth.
