Dr. Avi Bart Markowitz, MD

I contracted with Dr. Markowitz to do his billing. During the course of the contract he continued to fall be further and further behind in paying his bill. I be ended up having to sue for payment. I won the case but Dr. Markowitz still refused to pay. He owes me about $100,000 and still refuses to pay. Do not trust this man as he has a reputation for doing this to other businesses .

He was my spouse's oncologist. He treated her for a more advanced stage of cancer than she actually had. She has had many years of suffering side effect that the chemotherapy inflicted on other organs. When we tried to get her medical records to assess what her actual treatment had been. we were told that her records were "lost." See him at your own risk....

We feel very lucky to have Dr. Markowitz as the oncologist for our family member. He is straight forward and to the point when discussing prognosis and treatment and expected outcomes. Plus he's a leader in his field. Our waits have been long, on average 30 minutes or more...at best 5 or 10, at worst an hour. Our family member's treatment at this time is wait and see as he is in remission and is expected to be fine. But the reality remains that his cancer could come back and at that time, Dr. Markowitz already has a plan to treat that he's discussed with us. I cannot speak highly enough about him.

Dr. Markowitz is an excellent medical oncologist. I have known him since 1997, and his bedside manner is straight and to the point. He doesn't beat around the bush. When my father was diagnosed with aggressive colon cancer, he was the oncologist I wanted to treat him.The outcome was not what we had hoped but we knew this going in and he didn't stop until all the avenues were fully explored as far as treatment options.I would recommend him to anytone who needed an experienced medical oncologist.
