Dr. Avi-Abraham Setton, MD

He was my Dad’s Dr. I am frantically trying to find where he is working now because he is truly an Angel and I trust him so much. Please let me know if anyone has any info as to where he is . Thank you

I Was dr Setton patient 2017 and he performed embolization with coils of CCF It was an amazing result , not mentioning how much support and care he demonstrated. Have never met a doctor with such Big Heart !!! Thank you very much. If I only can reach him through email I’ll be more than happy , because need a professional advice!!! Thanks again.

Dr Avi Setton is a great Surgeon, He saves my mother’s life when she had a stroke. He has integrity and is very knowledgeable. I heard he left Northshore and I believe it is a great lost for them. Northwell better get their act together and treAt those great surgeon with love, compassion so they don’t become quantity but not quality. They just lost one of their team Dr Patel Anan who is a compassionate and caring doctor; about all of his patients

I was sixteen when I had my brain aneurysm and stoke. Dr Setton and his team saved my life.

Dr. Setton is the best doctor I never meet in my life, I have so many issues for my health I went through many surgeries but never meet a doctor like him, the kind, the caring to the patient, I still remember after my aneurysm procedure he walks in my room 3,4 times a day to check me out not including call in check during the midnight, he spends day and night just want to take the best care to his patient. He does not just save my life he also shows me what means the greatest doctor does - He has a big heart to really cares his patient not just does a doctor's job.

Dr. Avi Setton saved my life! He is an angel! God worked through his intelligent mind and hands to give me a second chance at life! His secretary Grace and his NP Kim, were both caring and responsible. It has been eight years since my procedure. I recommend the world to Dr. Setton. Gen??????????

My primary Neurologist recently discovered that I have a brain aneurysm and recommended that I make an appointment to have Dr. Avi Setton review the CT scan. I made an appointment with Dr Setton and to say I was apprehensive about the diagnosis is an understatement. From the moment I called to make an appointment until I met Dr. Setton everyone on his staff treated me with the utmost professionalism and dignity. Dr Setton was wonderful and immediately set my mind at ease. He is a true caring professional and after my appointment I left feeling that I am in the care of the best Dr. possible.

Dr. Avi Setton and his team are beyond words, AMAZING, FABULOUS, STUPENDOUS! Grace is an awesome member of Dr. Setton's team. She is compassionate, kind, helpful and also makes the patient and family feel so much support it helps to relieve the stress and fear they are feeling. Dr. Setton is kind, caring, genuine, brilliant and unbelievably wonderful to his patients and families. I was rushed in as emergency in Sept. 2016, I thought I was having a stroke, it was not. It was a Subderal Hematoma and Dural Fistula. I am so lucky Dr. Setton was the Dr. on call and that he was the one who took care of me along with Dr. Dehashti. Dr. Setton spoke to me calmly and explained what was happening and when it was time for me to go in to the OR he came to see me and comforted me and my girlfriend tremendously. After my procedure he came out and explained everything to my girlfriend and told her all went exactly as we hoped (well)!! Dr. Setton came to see me multiple times a day to make sure I was… doing well. Absolutely amazing!

Exceptional Dr. and Staff(Grace). Unfortunately, my father has an inoperable thrombosed artery. I agree with the other posts, compassionate, informative, and his persona exudes confidence and commitment to only superior work. If that time comes I would trust no other with my father.

Dr Setton performed brain anyurism surgery on my father almost 2 years ago. Choosing a doctor was a huge lengthy hurdle for my family to overcome but we ultimately trusted Dr. Setton to do the surgery. We are so glad that was the choice we made. Dr. Setton and his staff were amazing. Fortunately my father was a candidate for surgery through his groin (coil method) as opposed to the more evasive clipping method. He is home safe and back to normal. Cannot believe how smooth everything went. Another FYI, when my father was in recovery at NSUH brain surgery unit, all the hospital nurses and staff were on alert as soon as the doctor came into the wing. He was very hands on and expects the best treatment for his patients. Our nurse at the time admitted to us that he is one of those doctors that expect the best and do not settle for nonsense. Highly recommend!
