Dr. Avi Chaim Weiss, MD

Had to have a kidney stone removed. He wouldn't answer any of my questions. He did say, when I asked him about the stint he was going to put in, he was going to shove it up my pee hole. I ended up with an infection. Called his office all day and couldn't get anyone. Ended up in the er twice. The second time I was given a drip of antibiotics and was kept there for observation. They were afraid the infection would spread to the kidney. Never was able to get hold of Dr. Weiss. When he finally took the stint out, he said he checked my charts and I never had an infection. Guess the doctors in the er don't know what they are doing. I don't know how he could even say that. Guess he was just trying to cover his actions. I will never see him again and I would not recommend the office he works at. They don't answer the phone, and if you are lucky enough to talk to someone, they won't call back.

Well I think people here are a bit harsh? My personal experience is that he is neither the worst or the greatest doctor. Its hard to get appointments guys, was having doubts when saw a multitude of 1 stars.

Here is a doctor who doesn’t listen. After 5 years I am dealing with his carelessness. Problems from the beginning. Medicare sucks. I got what I paid for

This so called DR. performed a procedure for kidney stone removal and didn't do it correctly. The anesthetist ruptured my IV and had to re -do it while I'm lying there on the table. They kept me 4 days in the hospital- just to get more money out of my insurance. I had to pay another $3500 deductible and go to Banner Medical in Phoenix to get it done properly. He is rude and has no time for the patients.

This doctor is demeaning, rude and self-centered. My husband and I have been married over 48 years and have always been involved in each others health. I had a couple of questions regarding medication and after care from the biopsy's. He interrupted me stating his daughter always talks first also and doesn't listen. Wow, comparing me with a child and embarrassing me. So he is very quiet, never looking at us, just clicking away at the computer. He then says, that's it and leaves. I was never acknowledged, greeted, nothing. My husband had questions on his prescriptions. He can not believe how we have been treated, especially how he dismissed me. This is not acceptable and will be reported to the insurance co. and QA and QR. Enough with incompetent doctors and enough of attitudes.

This doctor its sound like don't know what his doing when I went to see him he referred me for prostate surgery which is very bad mistake listen to to this guy he made mess on me. my previous procedure did not help at all,year of pain and burning ,after 3 month of my procedure he told me my prostate was not the problem and now he said is my bladder. Please stay away from this doctor he will mess with your health...

My experiences with Dr. Weis have been positive. He listens to me and asks what my concerns are, and then he responds to my concerns.

Just wanted to chime in and say my experience with Dr Weiss was a pleasant one. Had a vasectomy, pretty painless, and lasted about 15 minutes. I saw him at the Goldring location.

I would like to start off by saying the staff at Dr. Weiss office is friendly and competent.Dr. Weiss is competent enough but spends very little time with the patient.I had a procedure done on a Fri in the office and had a raging infection by Sat. Had to call the service and spoke to the dr. on call.It was not Dr. Weiss.Don't know who he was and had a very hard time understanding him with his thick accent.That didn't bother me so much as did his rudeness and incompetence.Had a 101 fever and was not feeling well. He did nothing for me and told me to go to ER.If your PCP recommends this group to you ask for a different group to go to.Will probably be calling Health Dept. to let them know that their instruments for procedures may not be all that sterile.

I'm female and I submitted to a vaginal exam which I continue to regret. The nurse was prepping the room and opening drawers and cabinets. Frustrated at not finding what she was looking for, she went next door. She comes back holding one part of an acrylic speculum with her BARE hands! She proceeds to throw it into the tray within the table for the doctorâ??s use. I was screaming inside but couldn't speak out, â??Why isnâ??t that sterilized??!!â?? When the doc did the exam he did not show me the remaining part/s of the speculum being taken from a sterilized package either. I can't get over the fact that they put something filthy inside of me. If you are female, I would recommend you find another practice that respects women and modern medical practice! As for the doc himself, I'm not sure he likes his job. There was a glimmer of a funny guy, but a couple things that indicated the man has little compassion and definitely no empathy.
