Dr. Avilio Enrique Munoz, MD

I really don't recommend Dr Avilio Munoz, I have tried several time with him where my Baby is being sick and He always prescribed BENADRYL! like seriously. what Dr would tell you,your child has an infection and prescribe Bendaryl. Before this visit my Baby had fever and cough were He prescribed a medicine that a child will take before having a surgery, I did my research because sometimes medications are used for multiple situations. Well NOPE! nothing to be with the symptoms. I truly think he should go out of Business. Health is something that you don't play with, specially Kids. I strongly recommend that you DO NOT go with this Doctor. He is super sweet but Obviously something is wrong in the picture

Waited one hour to spend about one minute with this doctor. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

By far the worst dr in Tampa. Appt or no appt be looking to be there 4 hours minimum. My daughter had pneumonia and he told me it was nothing but an ear infection. After waiting three hours to see the Doctor, he was there long enough to give my child FOUR of the wrong shots! Then suggested we start all over!!! He is horrible! The worst doctor ever.

I have finally found a pediatrician who incorporates western and holistic medicine. The office staff are always friendly and Dr. Munoz is the best pediatrician I have ever been to. I brought all three of my kids here and he is always looking at each child as an individual and with a big picture when it comes to their health. He is very patient and knowledgeable. I drive 45 minutes to his office which is near St. Joseph's main hospital but it's worth the drive.
