Dr. Avinash Dhirajlal Shah, MD

Dr. Shaw is by far the best general practitioner doctor I have been fortunate to see and provide care for me since I moved to Charlotte 38 years ago. He is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and unlike the doctors who are so overbooked, overused by the large medical companies, very flexible with appointments. I am 65, I was a poster child for the "March of Dimes", born with my feet backwards. I am blessed to have met Dr. Shaw,(If you are looking for a new doctor for whatever reason and don't go see Dr. Shaw, in my opinion, you are missing a great opportunityto see the best in town!. He really is that good! My blood pressure and cholesterol are both in the "Normal, good range" for the first time in my life. Sorry for rambling, seriously, he is an incredibly great doctor and person!!

he has patience and listen to the needs of the patient. he doesn't rush you out. that is why I like him.

I first saw Dr. Shaw in 2001 for Bell's Palsy right after I moved to Charlotte. I was very lucky to find a great doctor so soon after coming here. Both Dr. Shaw and his partner Dr. Agha have been wonderful to work with. I would give them both my highest recommendations.

I have been seeing Dr. Shah since 1999. He is a great Doctor, I am very happy with him and would recommend him highly.

On my first visit I arrived early. My wait time was 1hr 15min before I saw him. There was another lady in the office that left at her 1hr mark to go back to work. I received no apology during my 10 min visit. On my follow-up visit 2 weeks later I arrived early again. I left the office at 1hr 30min past my appointment time. Dr Shah called and left a VM saying he's sorry about the wait. That he never makes people wait but another patient had an emergency. Apparently he didn't remember me and that he had done the same thing to me 2 weeks prior. Or to any other patients. I can't trust what he says.
