Dr. Aviv Benmeir, MD

I had a lad band about 10 years ago. I was having problems with it and he would yell at me. All I ate was cottage cheese and he told me I was a liar. He said that I ate something else to give me that pain, I didn’t.. He was so horrible to me that I completely gave up. I hope he has changed since than but from what I remember he was a complete jerk

No Regrets

Surgery didn't work, complications that I have to live with.

All I can say is Dr. BenMeir saved my life. I went to 3 different bariatric doctors and they couldnt find what was wrong with me. He gives you the best care that he can and he is a very nice doctor. He did a major rare surgery on me and because that I can live my life with no complications. The staff are also great his assistant and dietation. You cant get anyone better than him.

Had my surgery in 2015 and had the most supportive and understanding experience.

One of the most caring and knowledgeable Drs I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He did my surgery in Feb of 2011 and as far as I am concerned not only improved my life but save my life as well. He doesn't just do the surgery and then toss you to the curb. He follows up with all his patients and has events during the year in order for all of us to keep up with each other and celebrate our victories.

Dr. Ben-Meir did my gastric bypass surgery as well as 2 bowel obstructions. I have not met a better, more compassionate doctor than him. His knowledge is outstanding. If I could give him 10 stars for all I would.
