Dr. Avni Sidharth Patel

Dr. Patel was professional and caring and took the time to answer all my questions . She seemed skilled on the procedures .

My son and daughter have both been seen by Dr. Patel. They've seen her multiple times within the past year mainly in the Skokie office but once at a Chicago location. The office is clean and presentable and the receptionist are usually pleasant and professional. However, there are several things that are terrible. First, you have to wait almost a year to be seen and when you finally get an appointment, it's maybe ten to fifteen minutes long. The whole visit is uncomfortably rushed. If you're running late there is a flippant condescending attitude from the medical team(doctor herself and her nurses). This in particular is so ironic considering how long you have to wait for an appointment and how short the actual appointment is and the fact that you as the patient still have to wait fifteen plus minutes before the doctor sees you when you're on time! Dr. Patel herself I find condescending and inefficient. Her team of nurses follow her behaviors. I just had a phone call with one after… reaching out multiple times to get a prescription for my son that they failed to properly administer. I was so annoyed and disrespected by her curtness and dismissiveness and lack of professional courtesy. There is like one decent person in this office compared to any three that are inadequate, immature, unprofessional, and dismissive. I've been trying for a month to get an understanding on the medications my son needs and no one in that office has done their job. It's so dangerous and really disheartening for medical professionals to do less than the bare minimum. This has been a predominant reality with Northshore every since they became Endeavor Health. There is an overall lack of class, efficiency, respect, professionalism, and care. I am utterly disappointed and do not recommend Dr. Patel to anyone or Endeavor Health to anyone. As of today 1/9/25 the "call back nurse" has lied at least twice about sending over my son's prescription. The lack of medical care is deplorable. The moral compass for this team is below human rationale. If I could give no stars I would. And they've blocked me from accessing my Northshore Connect. Unbelievable.

First of all, I would like to say it took me eight months to get this appointment. This was something very important to me and I expressed that to the doctor that I wanted it to be done well well. We agreed and she did a biopsy to remove a mole all on my nose. The procedure was done in less than three minutes. I asked her if she did a good job because it felt like everything was just too fast. She said yes, and she walked out the door with the assistant. No one said that we were done and if I didn’t ask when they were walking out the door I probably would’ve sat in there by myself for a while, confused. She did a very horrible job and I want to be referred to someone else who can be professional and do the job properly. I understand that doctors are busy, but I need to be treated like I am important.
