Dr. Avo Artinyan, MD

I had surgery with Dr avo artinyan. My experience was poor. I had bottom surgery with him he has left me with a nonfunctional neovagina and I'm unable to be intimate due to all the burning and pain I'm experiencing. I've complained to him multiple times in person and in writing but he has for the most part ignored my complaints. He has left me with uneven lips and a big bump on my stomach. Dr avo seems to just care about doing multiple surgeries and doesn't take responsibility when some goes wrong. He makes it seem liked everything it's ok but it's not ok. This man is just plain rude and arrogant. He screamed at me when I was in my hospital bed in so much pain and madee cried. He was rushing me out of the hospital even though I was in so much pain. His secretary Josie is also a rude woman. I personally do not recommend Dr avo artinyan and hope my experience helps other ladies do their research carefully before they pick a surgeon.

Dr. Avo Artinyan is incredible. I had an emergency appendectomy and a long standing hernia correction with him and his professionalism, bedside manner, and calming presence made me feel so confident going into surgery. He is a type of artist in his work. I healed beautifully and the incision scars are nearly invisible. I am a gymnast and feel so confident in the work he did to continue to use my body as I do. From the deepest core of my heart I am grateful for him. THANK YOU DOCTOR!

Today I am living the sixth month anniversary of my breast cancer surgery thanks to Dr. Artinyan. He gave me life and hope when I had almost none left and the grace with which he entered my life is fitting to angels and powerful workers of God. I will spend the rest of life praying for him and his family for health and good things all throughout and I recommend his services wholeheartedly and with the experience of a patient who went in hopeless and came out winning.

Dr. Artinyan is not just a doctor but a hero for our family. Feeling helpless and lost after my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, we visited Dr. Artinyan. While remaining honest and candid, he answered all of our questions patiently and gave us hope. He described the procedure my dad needed in detail. Other doctors have made us feel uncomfortable to stay more than a few minutes or to ask them question. Dr. Artinyan was different. We knew he was the right surgeon. On the day of the surgery, he was there early to see our family and make us feel comfortable. He performed the surgery successfully and removed my dad’s tumor. After the surgery, Dr. Artinyan personally reached out to us to check on my dad and his progress. He even reached out to his network of professionals to get their input on my dad’s treatment. We were so touched by his gestures. He is someone who truly cares about his patients and their families. Besides being a one of a kind doctor with experience and… knowledge, Dr. Artinyan is an incredible human being who has been here for my family during the most difficult times of our lives. My dad’s mood is immediately lifted when he visits Dr. Artinyan. Not only does he counsel us with his medical advice but also with his amazing bedside manners and social skills. God bless you Dr. Artinyan. You are the best at what you do and are always referred to as a hero by our family members!

At 72lbs and at the end of my wits, an angel, Dr. Avo Artinyan appeared. 10 years prior i spent most of my time in a restroom vomiting. Every time i would eat it seemed to NEVER settle. The food would come right back up... Had 3 surgeries due to my bowels basically exploding, left with several colostomy bags. At some point was also fed through my i.v and was even on hospice. I was deathly ill and boy was i in pain.... in one of my thousands of hospital visits, i came across Dr. Avo Artinyan. Never knew he'd be the one to save my life. He told me he was willing to go in and search for the problem which NO other surgeon would do, no matter how much I'd beg. Dr. told me to gain some weight via my tpn for a few months and that he would operate. That day FINALLY came!!!!! I was at the point where the pain was so severe that at some point i didnt even want to live. Well, after hours in surgery, i was HEALED. I ended up being blocked in three areas, had approx. 6ft of intestine removed and he… took down my fistulas. It was much more intense than even i can put into words. A few weeks later they took my picc line out and was allowed to eat on my own and i got to tell hospice ADIOS!!!! ;) Its been a few months since then and im already up to 112lbs on my own and am still growing. Lol. I am so much stronger than i could ever imagine. Im able to be a mother of 5 again and am a happy, healthy wife. HOWEVER, none of this would have been possible without this MIRACLE WORKER, Dr. Artinyan... I am forever indebted to this heaven sent doctor. I would recommend him to EVERYONE!!!! Also, he has the best bedside manner that i have EVER came across in my life. Usually surgeons are a lil off standish but not him. I swear by this man. I can go on and on..... Most companionate and skilled Surgeon I have ever met! He saved my life!

For the last two years I had been in a very complicated medical situation due to treatment from other health care providers. After having been treated and operated on by Dr. Artinyan, I have been in excellent health. He was very professional, knew what my problem was, and took care of it. I haven't felt this good in over two years. I will be forever grateful for what he did for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. ARTINYAN.

After a routine colonoscopy, removal of a polyp exposed a small hole in the wall of my colon. This very painful event led me to the emergency room and after hours of tests, the on-call surgeon was going to perform a colostomy to repair the tiny hole. Dr Artinyan was called in by my Gastroenterologist to repair the hole using a laparoscopic process avoiding any removal of my colon. The successful surgery resulted in no more pain and less than a 1 week recovery eliminating the fashionable colostomy bag from my wardrobe. I highly recommend Dr. Artinyan.

Dr Artinyan was the surgeon for two of my wife's surgeries and I can't say enough good about him. He and his staff are incredible and I honestly don't think my wife would still be here without him.

When the lab results came back and I was told I had stage 3 cancer the world went dark for me. Having it turn out this bad, things moved fast into treatment, radiation and chemo. I talked to so many doctors and nurses and they told me what was going to be done to me, things got darker. Then the choice of surgeons, I went online and searched and found Dr. Artinyan. I researched his background and found he was well schooled and had the experience I wanted. It was evident as soon as we met he was the man for the job. He too told me what needed to be done, what choices I had and what outcome those choices would offer me. He was very detailed in what lay ahead but presented it in a very positive manner. He then became the light at the end of the tunnel. Needless to say, his staff and appointments were all anyone could ask for, I was never allowed to leave with a question in my mind. Dr. Artinyan not only treats the body but keeps the mind as positive as possible, this being the type of… thing that your mind and your body both have to be at their best. There was never a question I asked that he made me feel funny for asking. It was then that Dr. Artinyan and I became a team, he coached me as to what he needed from me and made me feel he was very confident about the fact that if what needed to be done was at all possible that he would get it done. I trusted him with the future of my life and will never regret it the rest of my life. There were no surprises and he made sure I was ready for what was to come. Things turned out for the best after 8 long hours of Dr. Artinyan ridding me of cancer with the outcome I had hoped for. Dr. Artinyan was my coach, my mentor, my surgeon and now my friend for life!
