Dr. Ayesha Ahmad Anwar, MD

Dr. Ahmad Anwar graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002 and then earned her medical degree at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2007. She went on to complete her pediatric residency training at the Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC in 2010. After her residency training, she worked as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, specializing in the care of hospitalized children. She served as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center until 2014 and has since transitioned to the world of outpatient pediatrics.

Dr. Ahmad Anwar is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is also licensed by the Texas Medical Board and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a strong believer in the practice of evidence based medicine and strives to continually provide the highest level of care possible for her patients.
