Dr. Ayham Al Ashkar, MD

Told me I had advanced cancer without having performed any tests. All he did was feel a lump and told me definitely it was 1) advanced lymphoma, or 2) bone cancer or 3) colon cancer. When my regular MD called dr Ashkar office to see my patient notes, his assistant told her that it was “pointless” to fax my chart as he had put NO NOTES regarding my 45 minute appointment! My MD was shocked that he would tell me positively tell me I had cancer without having performed zero tests performed. He had NO NOTES regarding my 45 minute appointment! He expressed ZERO empathy and did not even remotely suggest any other diagnosis than cancer. My MD was appalled! I wouldn’t go back to him if you paid me!

Dr. Askar is an excellent, deeply experienced oncologist. He is caring, patient, empathetic, and realistic…a calm and engaging physician, and a genuine human being. I was very fortunate to have Dr. Ashkar as a member of my remarkable oncology team!

Great doctor he makes you feel at ease no rushing you out like some doctors do answers all the questions you have

After seeing a fewl oncologists that I was referred to by my family physicians, I took a 3rd chance with a neighbor''s recommendation to see Dr. Ashkar. I guess it is true. Never accept a first offer and 3rd times a charm. This man cares for his patients. Sometimes you may have to wait a little bit but I would waste an entire day to see this doctor. Worth your time. Worth the wait. You owe it to your health and your sanity. If you need an oncologist, I have had my experiences with them, choose Dr. Ashkar. A doctor who cares, who is with you on your path, and stays with you. He hasn't let me down.

One of the most wonderful doctors you could ask for. He is beyond caring and friendly. He goes out of the way to make you comfortable and at ease. He knows his stuff and makes sure you are well cared for.
