Dr. Karkoutly wrote me a prescription for a drug, and I asked what the side-effects are. He claimed there are none. I said every drug has potential side-effects, and he said no, not this one. The pharmacy looked at me sideways and said this drug is OTC, so I don't need a prescription. I looked up the side-effects on multiple websites, and they all said this drug causes drowsiness and to avoid driving while taking it. Well I'm about to head out on a motorcycle road-trip, so I'm glad I looked it up. I called Dr. Karkoutly about this, and he doubled down, insisting that 1) I did indeed need a prescription, and 2) in his experience there are zero side effects, and claiming his personal experience is more significant than anything reported elsewhere. The one word that comes to mind here is "negligence".

I have been going to so many different doctors to try to get my blood pressure under control for the past 20 years and this is the first doctor that has ever done anything for me he is a great doctor.

I was extremely disappointed in Dr.Karkoutly, he had seen my dad for many years but his last surgery he was not careful and my dad suffered a stroke during the procedure and developed several sicknesses after that, the dr never cared enough to diagnose why my dad was so ill and continued to get worse...my dad died 5 1/2 weeks after and the dr was on VACATION during this time.

I felt he was very caring and was on his game He will be my only cardio doctor. His staff was excellent as he was. I felt I was in good hands.which really helps when you have a problem
