I had a serious issue during surgery that required a blood transfusions. Dr. Ayman Mahdy never talked to me or my family about what took place during surgery and later during an office visit he told me that I was given a blood transfusion just incase. Just incase? Leaving the hospital without being able to fully understand what took place was so stressful. He didn’t talk with my family after my surgery to let them know about my condition or what had just happened during surgery. I also found out later that he missed a serious issue. Months of pain because of this. He did not listen to the symptoms and blew me off. I was made to feel the bleeding during surgery was my fault. I did not expect this from him as he was way more professional in office than he was after surgery. If I had to do this all over again I would choose another surgeon.

DO NOT SEE THIS “DOCTOR” ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE SPINA BIFIDA!!!!!!!! I ALMOST DIED FROM COMPLICATIONS AFTER HE OPERATED ON ME AND HE DOES NOT CARE!!!!!!!! HE HAS NEVER TRULY SHOWN THAT HE CARES ABOUT ME AS A PATIENT!!!!!!!!

My first visit. Very satisfied with information that was given to me. Didn’t try and rush me thru appointment. Dr patient relationships excellent.
