Dr. Azalea Sharifi was born and raised in Colorado. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and has been practicing dentistry for 20 years. Before that she graduated from Muenster Dental School in Germany in 1994 and obtained her Ph.D. in Psychosomatic Disorders and Dentistry in 1997 from the same school. Dr. Sharifi served a three-year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Following this, she spent two years in private practice and as an instructor in the Department of Orthodontics.
She has been INVISALIGN certified in 2002 and 2004. Dr. Sharifi has also received her German Certificate of Orthodontics. Her achievements have been published in Marquis \"Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare,\" \"Who's Who In America , \" and \"Who's …Who in the World\" in the years 2002-2016, as well as Who's Who in American Women\" for 2006.Her society memberships include: American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Montgomery-Bucks Dental Association, German Orthodontic Association, and the University of Pennsylvania Alumni. Dr. Sharifi is married and has a teenage son.
