Dr. Azardokht Kardan, MD

She is The WORST. She told me my daughter was just over weight and lazy. She also said I was just over protective, when infact my daughter had a pseudo tumor cerebri and almost lost her vision permanently because of her negligence !

My baby came early so I didn't get to check out offices before we went like I wanted to. My baby had been choking and when we took her to be seen we were told she was just a cry baby. She was very rough with our baby like she was a rag doll. Not even a week later we had to call 911 because she choked and stopped breathing turned blue; we spent months in the hospital and when the dr came to see us she didn't even know why we were there nor did she care to listen to us. At our check up from the hospital when she was asking me answers and checking boxes she didn't even wait for my response before she checked it even if I had a different answer. She is very rude and the staff doesn't like to answer questions either, they would rather stand around in a group and talk then look at you funny when you ask them something. I am very disappointed and upset with South Dayton Pediatrics!

Dr. Kardan is not a friendly lady, everytime that my son was seen by her he cried, she was not patience nor gentle! During are time with her she was dealing with some family issues however as an healthcare professional you have to leave your own personal issues outside of your practice to make sure you can give the best care possible!

South Dayton Pediatrics is a wreck! At 2 months old we were told our Daughter needed her shots. We decided we wanted nothing but the DTaP which came with the Hepatitis B. We came back for her 4 month check up "Doctor" Kardan reviewed her chart. Come to find out when we got her last shots they gave her ones that I DID NOT sign for! I kept telling her over and over I didn't and she repeated "She needs all of her shots/vaccines." Then went on calling parents that didn't give there babies/kids the shots, or broke them up were "paranoid". Well we're those parents! And they're job isn't to go against our wishes. Dr. Kardan was a wreck and couldn't even calmly handle our baby with care instead she jerked her around and made her cry when she checked her reflex and hit her in both knee caps and in the arms! THEN, during her 4 months physical Dr. Kardan checked her legs, said she may have hip displaysia and to have an ultrasound done asap. Gave us a prescription note on where to go, and what to… do. Said to go to Childrens for it and to just do a walk-in. Childrens doesn't do that! Then we were told she meant another place. After a night of no sleep we left before the place even opened come to find out THEY DON'T DO THEM! We're picking up our Daughters chart after we finally get the results and leaving that place!

dr. kardan is very rude

When I had my son this office was the only office in my area currently accepting new CareSource patients. Now I know why... This doctor is an awful doctor. She is very rough with patients. My son is still petrified of all doctors touching him because of her. Very rude when I asked questions. No bedside manner whatsoever. She is not very accepting of differing points of view. She gave lots of misinformation and misdiagnoses. Supposedly an 'Allergy Specialist' but I knew more than she did. She misdiagnosed a food allergy as poison ivy, at the time it was winter and my son was only 6 mo. old. We had to figure out what the allergy was ourselves. The only thing good about this doctor is her staff. They were very prompt, friendly and caring.I do not recommend this doctor at all!!! We would rather see no doctor at all than this one!
