Dr. Azhar Afaq, MD

Dr. Afaq initially seemed like a good specialist. In April 2024, I was diagnosed with a thyroid condition that required immediate intervention. The doctor promptly referred me for thyroid removal. A year later, I became pregnant with only the remaining part of my thyroid, which already had an autoimmune disease. During my pregnancy, my thyroid stopped coping, and my hormone levels dropped below the range needed for a healthy pregnancy. I developed multiple symptoms, but Dr. Afaq insisted my levels were “normal” and even referred to Google right in front of me. At one of my appointments, he told me that he would not regulate my hormones and would only see me after delivery. He then simply stood up and left without even asking if I had any questions. I immediately found another specialist who completely disagreed with Dr. Afaq’s opinion and promptly prescribed the correct hormone dosage. He also said that such behavior was absolutely unprofessional, especially toward a pregnant… woman. I strongly do not recommend Dr. Afaq. If you value your health, it’s better to find a real doctor.

This doctor is Inexperienced, his medications doesn't related to my concern and useless.
