Dr. Azim Abbas Presswala, DDS

He is rude, unprofessional, lacks empathy, rough and smells bad. His attitude is horrible, treated me like I was unwanted and unwelcome. I will never see him again even if all my teeth were falling out! I’m pregnant, and he told me no dentist will do my root canal until baby is born! How can I wait that long!? That was a lie too! There are plenty of drs that will take care or pregnant women! The infection could’ve gone to my baby! I’m glad I got a second opinion . He is a jerk. Beware!

HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO TO HIM! HE IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND OVERALL AN INSENSITIVE INDIVIDUAL REGARDING HIS PATIENTS! HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. I WOULD RATE HIM A NEGATIVE IF I COULD.

Place was clean, everyone was very nice and helpful. The doctor was very nice he did jabbed the crap outta me with the numbing needle and ripped my tooth out in 30 seconds but job is done and I'm satisfied.

I just went a week ago to have my wisdom teeth pulled but a week before that I went in and he looked at my mouth by poking it with a tongue depressor, it was very painful and he got mad and said to me, "what am I supposed to do you can't even open your mouth," I started crying because I was in tremendous pain and wanted it out or over, it seemed that he got mad because I was crying and scolded me saying, " what you want me to do, with your insurance nobody will do it besides one person and you would be lucky to get in in 6 months," I told him that was ok so he sent me away with antibiotics. When I actually went to get them pulled one side of my mouth did not take the numbing medication and I told the hygienist and she told him before assuring me that he would give me more to numb it, he persisted ignoring her comments, the second tooth would not come out, this man battled my tooth while banging into other teeth, my cheek and tongue. He ended up breaking it up to get it out, they… x-rayed my mouth to see if they got everything and sure enough they did not, I overheard him say it was three pieces but he only got one out saying he thought the others were bone. Long story short my jaw and neck was swollen to the size of a baseball, it has been 9 days and it still hurts really bad, I have not eaten in 10 days because I can't swallow, and when I call they can't give me answers they want me to come in and be seen but I took off so much work last week because of the pain and the previous appointments, I can't afford to take anymore time, they do not have any times a working person can go in without missing work. He treated me like a second class citizen because of my insurance and was very rude and condescending. To top it all off he did not give me anything for after care but 16 pain pills and gauze that ran out the first day, the receptionist said to take over the counter pain medication and double up, he gave me 16 ibuprofen 800 mg and that did nothing for the pain, so how in the world would over the counter pills help, this place is horrible and they do not care. If I could give them 0 stars I would, do not go here.

This so called "dentist" is absolute trash, he messed up on pulling wisdom teeth from my husband, which in doubt he man handled him during the procedure to yank and pry the teeth out of his jaw which undoubtly cracked his other tooth (not a wisdom) , He didn't prescribe any type of ibuprofen after procedure, and my husbands face swelled to the size of a grape fruit, he cut his internal cheek with the instruments he used that later led to infection that had to be treated and we just had the tooth that he cracked professionally fixed and even the dentist that fixed his teeth and go to now said this idiot had no idea what he was doing and it was a botched job! Shame on you for treating patients the way you do and remember that without them you wont have a business or a paycheck buddy! STAY VERY FAR AWAY!!!!!

Unethical dental practice, in my view. Azim Presswala refused to make a physical inspection of a tooth in pain claiming that "he works with his brain," so I guess he does not need eyes to diagnose. Instead he directly recommended an oral surgeon for a tooth extraction, rather than a basic inspection of the tooth. Refusing to proceed with a regular dental appointment, Presswala started yelling at me in front of staff and other patients, threatening that he would overcharge me because Medicaid wouldn't pay for my appointment. In my view, whether a person is a Medicaid patient or not, it is derogatory and disrespectful to stereotype any patient rubbing their socioeconomic status on their faces. This was unethical and unprofessional dental practice. After his outbreak, fuming, Presswala continued yelling until he got to the reception desk instructing the receptionists to overcharge for my appointment. Really? An overcharge to receive a yelling for one who claims to be a doctor? There was… not even a basic physical inspection of the tooth in pain. It is important to note that I have been a patient of Presswala for the last four years, at least. You would expect that, in that time, he would have diagnosed a problem tooth before it became a sick and painful tooth. After all, in his words, he had four years to diagnose "with his brain." Far from this, In the four years I have been Presswala's patient, he has never diagnosed a problem with any of my teeth. This claim turned out to be far from true. Just this summer, Presswala realized that another tooth --which got sick under his watch-- required root canal. Why did it take Presswala three years to figure out a problem when I had seen him for specific tooth pain? Two teeth went wrong under his watch, he failed to diagnose them on time and now he recommends extraction. As he openly expressed in yelling today, if he believes that anybody would deserve an inferior quality dental care for being a Medicaid patient, his practice is not ethical or reputable, based on my experience of four years.

I saw him in 2015 and decided to got to another dentist. I was refereed to him for a root canal and he turned me away because I did not continue with HIS services. Very rude man.

Horrible! Fund someone else this place is horrible! Manhandled me disrespectful all around!

DO NOT GO HERE! "1st thing he said to me in a rude way, "what do you want me to do about It?" He botched my root canal! He let bleach down my throat,was extremely rough when working on my mouth,and took a phone call in the middle of drilling! The most Rude, arrogant, unprofessional doctor I have ever met! Every time I was there he was rushed and answered none of my questions ! I went back 5 times in extreme pain and he did nothing. I am still looking for a specialist to fix it. CHECK FOR OTHER REVIEWS! THEY ARE ALL BAD!!!

He is incredibly rude and snide. After waiting 30 minutes the doctor came and said, "what's your problem" as I quietly sat in the chair perplexed by his manner. However after being treated to hearing him say, "what do you want me to do it about it?!" to a woman in pain he was doing a filling on in the next room, I feel lucky I just left.
