Dr. Azra N Pappa, DO

This female Napoleon complex afflicted DO (not an MD) raises her office chair high and displays her Major rank as though making Major when she was directly commissioned as a Captain is some kind of an accomplishment. I was an Infantryman long ago, and even if she were a man, she surely would have washed out of basic training. Poor manners. Treats all patients like widgets instead of individuals. Rude and not very bright, which clearly is why she is not an MD. Truly a last resort. Bottom of the barrel with a one size fits all, defensive medicine approach.

Dr. Papa took me off one of my meds. After a couple of weeks being off the medicine, I told her that my mood had dropped. She insisted I stay off the med because I was “taking too many medications”... my mood continued to drop and she refused to do anything about it. I ended up in the psych unit a week later because of it (the hospital put me back on that med and it regulated my mood). She does not listen to her patients and her appointments are at most 2 minutes long. Oh, and she arrived 20 minutes late to her appointments often... do not go see her.

Doctor was very rude and very pushy. I did not feel comfortable with her and had to change doctors.

I ran out of medication on a Fri late since I was out of town. Came home on Sat and answering service wouldn't even contact the doctor for a refill. Wouldn't do anything call during office hours. That's non caring and terrible. One of the meds font work and hasn't for months. She keeps making me take it. I think she may have burn out. My anger on here is from not having my meds.

One of the worst doctors I've ever seen. During my entire initial appointment, she didn't make eye contact even once. In a monotone completely bored and uncaring voice she read her by the book questions, and within 10 minutes "diagnosed" and threw a prescription at me.The only reason I continue to see her is because I know the medicine works, which I knew before seeing her. I go to get the medicine that helps me, but anyone who wants a doctor who actually listens and goes deeper than just a list of pre-set questions, avoid at all costs. I'd go as far to say that she is dangerous. Highly likely to miss more serious problems due to her complete inability to even pretend to be involved with her patient.I've seen her 10+ times and she still does not know my name or case without looking it up....It's sad.
