I hadn't been to a dentist in over three years, and had just joined Blue Shield Dental of California. Prior to joining, Blue of California Dental Plan, I looked at the reviews of a few local Dentist's, and I particularly liked the reviews of Dr. Dan Rosen, the office where Dr Babak Forooghi practices dentistry. Anyway, after I joined Blue Dental of California, the plan assigned me to a different Dentist, and I guess I had forgotten that I had read & liked the reviews for Dr. Rosen's Office. I gave the other dentist that they assigned me to & since they had already sent me my ID Card for this other dentist, I gave him a try. Very, very, bad decision. Without going into much detail here, that other dentist was nothing but a Crook, his reviews, which unfortunately, I did not take the time to read before I went to him, were worse than terrible, with the exception of one or two patients. The office manager was worse than the Dentist, they gave me a very unprofessional statement,… without the amounts, which I had trouble reconciling to the bill, and she got all huffy when I asked for the ADA Treatment Codes. Luckily, I only got stuck with a bill for $475 for some treatment that I still don't know if was necessary, I doubt it, and for which no ADA Treatment Code existed. And, bottom line is I ended up paying for three crowns with an upgraded surface a little more than the first dentist that Blue of California wanted to charge me for two crowns. Anyway, I am glad I found Dr Forooghi in Dr. Dan Rosen's Office. He & everyone on the staff I have dealt with is nothing but excellent, they explain whatever proposed charges are & give you a complete & detailed statement print out, including what the ADA Treatment Codes are. I highly recommend Dr Babak Forooghi to anyone in search of a dentist in the Encino, Tarzana, & Sherman Oaks area!
