Dr. Babak Shayestehfar, MD

B. Robert Shayestefar, M.D. is a board certified radiologist with sub-specialty training in MRI/Musculoskeletal. Dr. Shayestefar is a Suma Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of California Irvine, with a degree in Biology. He earned his medical degree from the University of California Los Angeles with a Alpha Omega Alpha honors. Dr. Shayestefar completed his clinical internship training at Mercy Hospital in San Diego after which he went back to UCLA to compete his Radiology residency training. After his residency he completed his fellowship in MRI/Musculoskeletal at the University of Southern California. Throughout his education and post graduate training, Dr. Shayestefar’s conscientious and diligent dedication to his field is reflected in his honors and scholarships. Dr. Shayestefar is the author of multiple presentations and publications in the field of Radiology. After serving five years as the Chief of Musculoskeletal/ MRI Imaging at Olive View/UCLA Medical …Center, he is currently full time at the Prohealth North Hollywood site.
