Bahareh Bahadini, MD

Dr Bahadini is irresponsible and unreliable. She seems caring and thorough at the first consultation. But once a patient decides her to be their doctor, she totally changes her attitude. When a patient has questions, she abruptly responds, "it's not my responsibility." When a patient can't afford a procedure, she shamelessly says, "I can't help you." She brags about her session being short with each patient because she double books her appointments. Think carefully and reconsider taking this doctor as your oncologist.

She is taking advantage of patience and family. She gives false hope and unrealistic expectation. She doesn’t explain side effects. As a medical professional I think she is in this for the money, taking from the sick! We have reported her for possible Medicare fraud. Please do yourself a favor, find a better doctor.

Do not use this oncologist hematologist. She is a the most unprofessional , dismissive, careless doctor I have experienced. My family members who also work In the medical community were embarrassed that she was treating cancer patients. I was able to observe her with her staff and other patients because we were all in the same room during chemo. I could not believe the total disregard and disrespect she showed both her patients and staff. I guess being that it seemed most of us had an hmo and we’re stuck with her she figured she did not need to bother with her reputation. She made mistakes under the hippa laws that were ridiculous. She blamed her patients for her screw ups. She forgot to order tests, forgot to give results or gave wrong results. She asked us / her patients the same questions over and over. Never noted anything in charts and never referred to her charts when meeting with you. She would palpate the wrong area of where my tumor was and had no idea what number chemo I… was on or what tests I had had or needed. She claims she works with a team. That’s her big selling point when you meet her. Her associate doctors who she will send you too have no idea what’s going on with her patients and they say the opposite things she will say to you about your cancer. It’s alarming how unorganized and passive she is about her cancer patients. So sad. Breaks my heart that she is a doctor for people who either think they may die or are dying. I luckily changed insurance and got out of there.

I have been seeing Dr Bahadini for over 3 years one of the best doctors ever. Allways caring and professional.

have seen her throught hmo insurance and she seems to be very knowledgeable and empathetic with patients. seems to be able to take the time and communicate effectively about their diagnosis and also let you know that she works with a team of doctors who she can consult with and also get back to you on with specific recommendations

My initial viewpoint of Dr. Bahadini was great. While I was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer and she was assisting me with the next steps, she was very attentive and even went out of her way to explain more information to my family. The problem was, after I decided to continue my care with her and not seek a second opinion, the care and detail to my case was dropped significantly. She forgot important dates and tests she was supposed to write orders for and then even gave me test results leading me to believe my condition was improving, when in fact, after seeking a second and third opinion, I found out that what she was telling me was completely false and my condition was actually getting worse and had I continued my care with her for another month.....I would have ended up severely sick. Not to mention, she just wasted 2 months of a life that is already going to be short due to my diagnosis. I don't know how anyone could sleep at night knowing they were intentionally… deceiving someone with a terminal illness just to make money for the organization they work for. It is very disheartening and disappointing to trust a professional in their field, only to find out they were all about making revenue for their company and not in the best interest of the patient. But I guess that's what they are taught and what is, the reality of our society.

Dr. Bahadini is the most caring dr I've ever met. She spends as much time as I need (thus someone else is waiting, but I waited too, talking cancer can not be a rushed. As she treats, she educates about my diagnosis of breast cancer. She & her staff have excellent follow-up to all of my requests. She double checks her work by presenting cases at the weekly tumor boards & consults w/ outside drs as an added messure (City of Hope). I could not feel in better hands.
