Made me totally dependent on him and took tens of thousands of dollars for "therapy' that was totally too long and inappropriate and then abused me mercilessly for the dependency he created and violated all my privacy rights. I was lucky to survive him

I’ve been on depakote for 20+ years if I go off cold turkey I have a grand mal seizure, got a different ins &?he denied me depakote. Now I can’t even get my insurance to cover it. All because of him I have to pay cash $ $268.94 that I don’t have. I’m disgusted

He violated my hipaa rights by opening my file in front of another patient. He argued his point as to why he did it and tried to make me feel sorry for him. NEVER go to him. He is very rude and other patients have told me stories about how rude he is.

He may come off as curt but this doc is the most knowledgeable doc I've ever had, and I've had quite a few in my lifetime. Not only does he know his stuff, he truly cares about his patients. He works through lunch almost every day and stays until every last patient is seen. Once when I was having a melt down he made sure to get me right in making his work day longer. If you want a doctor who knows his stuff, that truly cares about your well being, that will make sure you have the appointments you need and who tells u like it is and doesn't dance around or sugar coat it for you- Dr. Sholevar is your guy.
