Dr. Bahram Ahmadi, MD

Excellent doctor, thanks to him, after many years without knowing my real diagnosis, he was able to find my problem and help me feel better by indicating the correct medications. I recommend him 100%, very kind and super professional.

I basically liked Dr. Ahmadi, he was friendly, but his office staff is terrible! Rude, disrespectful and money-grabbing. Came for my appointment this morning, and out of the blue they told me that I had to pay over $200 for my last visit because my insurance didn't cover it. I told them that it didn't sound right because I did pay my co-pay and the rest had to be covered by the insurance. Was told that I couldn't see the doctor unless I payed. I asked for them to print out a bill for me so that I could take it up with my insurance and they refused!!! They called the office manager and she started checking and after a while told me that I had to pay only $40 (down from about $228). This was supposedly the co-pay difference for the last 2 visits. Problem is that I did pay the copay they told me to pay at the time of the visits! So they blamed the error on the girl that was working there at the time but was no longer with the office. The whole thing just didn't sound right and more… importantly they were very rude and disrespectful to me. Interrupted me, wouldn't let me talk and also completely distorted what I told them. I have never had this kind of experience in a doctor's office before. Seemed like some kind of money grabbing operation without any regard to their patient's well being. Dr. Ahmadi, if you read this: I probably would have stayed with you if it wasn't for your awful staff. But now I'm looking for a new GI.

The Doctor was very attentive, listened to my questions with concern. The staff was extremely helpful as well.

He isn't in your room long but he seems to know the answer or the right place to start looking. Very nice Doctor

Goes out of his way to make going to the Doctor a pleasant experience.

Very frustrating, unprofessional staff. Long wait time. Won't set up payment plan. He doesn't listen to you. Seems overwhelmed. Phone system always down, they don't call you back.

Today my daughter had her colonoscopy by Dr. Ahmadi at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Lakewood Ranch, Fl. Exceptional personalized care! Awesome team from doctor, anestesiologist, nurses and volunteers. We arrived at 6:30a.m. And went in for prep at 8:00a.m. Procedure at 9:00a.m. My daughter has epilepsy and a neurological condition so we had extensive intake and Dr. Ahmadi and team were well informed. She came through with flying colors with little to no side effects following procedure. While in waiting room I overheard three other patients rave about how good Dr. Ahmadi is. He is the best!

Dr. Ahmadi is a caring, and compassionate doctor. His exam was thorough and he noted something critical in my daughter's blood work, which her other doctors missed. He is straight to the point, concise and a good diagnostician. His office staff were amazing, caring, friendly and very efficient. I highly recommend him.

This man needs to take some communication skills and learn a respectful bedside manner. I do not trust him or his skills.

Please be proactive in your healthcare. DR Ahmadi doesn't review patient charts, has no clue what your name is, why you're there (even if you've been his patient for over a year) he doesn't check if your blood work is critically abnormal, until you, The Patient brings it to his attention! I could have died if I wasn't aware of my body, knowledge about medical procedures, & reading my own blood work. Also, he uses inappropriate words to a few female patients. They say he's a good doctor, but I beg to differ! You are your only advocate! Please Educate yourself. ð???
