When I was first told I need a new man-made aortic valve, I thought, You are nuts. I'm only 43 years old, have no symptoms, but needed clearance to have surgery on a torn rotatorcuff...I couldn't get that clearance. And was lucky to learn at that young age of 43, that I was born with a bicuspid Aortic valve. Dr. Eslami was adamant I have the surgery to replace the valve. When a 2d opinion confirmed the same thing. I stayed with Dr. Eslami I have always been able to get in and get out for appointments.Get questions answered, and yes I've had a lot of questions over the years. It's up to us, as individuals, to take our health into our own hands to help the health care givers help us.

Beware of this doctor. Do not go to him if you have any kind of serious disease. Absolutely unknowledgable and total waste of time and money.
