Dr. Bahram Mirza, MD

Met with Dr. Mirza in Palm Desert Kaiser building, and the appt was so much better than I expected. He asked how he could help me, asked thoughtful questions, and was willing to work with me (i.e. doing specific blood work to check on antibody and selenium levels). I appreciated his willingness to work with me (vs only telling me what to do), and he's continued with follow up through Kaiser messages (vs multiple face to face appts). Finally got some answers to questions I'd had for years. Thanks to Dr. Mirza!! Also big thanks to Jin Mei E Huang, RN.. who works with him!! She is so good and timely with communicating and helping with everything!!

My experience with this man was bad. I had two or three blood test results returned to him that made no sense. He did not have the tests repeated, and without knowing my thyroid hormone levels, he just left me on my old dose.My real dislike of him comes from his nastiness in talking to me. The last time I saw him, I was in tears. I then changed doctors and have since been treated normally and received better care from my new endocrinologist.

Cannot be understood when he attempts to speak English quickly. Did not have my thyroid hormones tested often enough to keep me feeling well. Responde ...
