Dr Varjavand is insightful, considerate, and knowledgeable. His diagnosis and follow up fit completely with the senior staff at Yale Vascular Neurology. If you are in Sacramento and has need of his specialty - you would be remiss not to see this physician.

I went in for an aspiration of a sac of fluid on my lumbar spine. Dr. Varjavand was a super likeable physician who spoke to me throughout the procedure and explained what he was doing at all times. He made me feel at ease and comfortable, and it was obvious that the staff held him in high regard and enjoyed working with him. It was a positive and uneventful procedure and I felt confident that I was in good hands!

In 2008, I lost consciousness alone at home--was miraculously found a few minutes later by my 90-year old Dad. I was rushed to Sutter Roseville via ambulance. In their wisdom, the trauma doctors called Dr. V. He came from Sacramento to treat me. He saved my life from a ruptured aneurysm and subarachnoid hemmorhage. I am going to try to let him know today how grateful I am, as I never saw him again after being transferred to a different hospital. He is my hero, though, forever.

Dr. V is an excellent MD. He was very thorough and took his time explaining my neurological problem. He consulted with another MD as well, trying to get another expert to either confirm his findings or to present different findings. He is kind, too. If you have a vascular issue with your brain, see Dr. V.

Dr. Varjavand was compassionate and honest. I felt secure in his hands. I only wish I could have him in all my areas of medical need. His honesty and integrity is unquestionable. He covered everything and left nothing out and if he felt he was not the one to do a procedure, he called in his partner but still made sure he was there to oversee it. He is a shining star!

This doctor saved my life. I had a ruptured aneurysm and wasn't expected to even make it. But Dr. V was called, and he opened up my skull...and here I am, all my wits about me, doing WELL. Thank God for this man.
