Dr. Balebail Ashok Raj, MD

Dr. Raj is a wonderful doctor. He helped my grandfather get his life back, after being wrongly medicated by doctors who think that dementia makes a person less than human. He was a God-send.

Dr. Raj is very knowledgeable. My aging father had been poorly handled by other physicians that did not provide him with a proper diagnosis. Upon getting him to the Byrd Institute, Dr. Raj did a FULL evaluation which allowed him to give an accurate diagnosis. Because my father has vascular Dementia, which is far different from Alzheimer's, the drug he prescribed actually helped my father to regain clarity and to function at a much higher level. My father improved so much he was able to get out of a skilled nursing home, and move into an assisted living facility. He has been in the ALF for two years now and continues to improve.
