Dr. Balwant Singh Nagra, MD

That is what one might wonder, given the pairing of the impersonal and generic approval for his "services" and the inaccuracy of the reviews. Dr. Nagra works for what is well known as one of the worst mental health institutions in Erie County. He works within a forced treatment model, in which those over which he exercises the authority of incompetence will likely never know his name and will have no ability to challenge the labels he affixes to them within the five minutes he pretends to know how to listen to them. He is another robotic arm of institutional violence.

I went to CPEP voluntarily, with suicidal ideation and self harm. After 32hrs a resident interviewed me and said that i should be getting discharged soon and get outpatient services. After 39hrs This DR see's me after speaking to him less than 2 minutes he leaves. The only collateral they took was from my abusive ex who at the time i still lived with. I try to explain my situation with more depth to a Nurse directly after. This Dr already put in orders to admite me off the lies of my ex. I write a complaint tell him to F**K off and point through his glass box. He take this as a threat and i get sedated. It took me 6 days to actually get to the floor to explain what happened where they discharge me as was originally planned. No therapies were preformed during this time, it was just a prison that worsened my condition.

Dr gave me his email address and personal cell phone number to use if I had any problems. I was thrilled! However, I tried both for over a week-- he never contacted me. Then, I decided I should directly call his office. I left a message explaining everything with the receptionist. She assured me that she would make sure that Dr Nagra called me back. When I finally had my scheduled appointment with him 3 weeks later, I didn't even have a chance to ask him why he didn't contact me. As soon as I sat down, he said: "I cannot get back to every patient. I am very busy." WOW! That was an unpleasant shock.

I am very happy with this doctor. He takes good care of his patients.

I was reffered to Dr Nagra by my Primary. I am seeing Dr Nagra for last few months. He takes care of his patients. I am happy with my treatment. I have spoken to my friends about it who have seen a big difference in me since I started in this clinic.

I was pleased with my first appointment with Dr Nagra. He took great amount of time to understand my issues and explained to me what was going on and what were the treatment options. I was treated with respect by his clinic staff and made my visit very comfortable. I think I made a good choice by choosing to see Dr Nagra.

My son needed help. Dr Nagra helped my son a lot. We like him. He is very professional and always listens to us.

I like Dr Nagra and his staff in the clinic. I smile everytime I leave his office.

Doctor was on time. He made me feel comfortable. He did not force the medications on me and wanted to work as a team. He explored different treatment options. I liked it.

I had an excellent experience. He was amazing. I will recommend him to everyone.
