Dr. Bamidele Anuoluwa Ajayi, MD

Very perverse, inappropriate man. Do not let your child near this man.

Went to him for severe depression and anxiety that hasn't responded to therapy,meds, and ect for 5 years. First thing he says is, you haven't responded because you have bipolar disorder (not maybe or let's look at your symptoms, but--you do)...I said I never had any signs of mania or hypomania ever...he says u don't need to have mania to have bipolar (come on why lie like that (I am a physicians assistant)). Next session after putting me on atypical antipsychotic with no response, he goes well you obviously have a personality disorder and says, you don't even look depressed to me (really? Based off my looks through a webcam??). Now in my medical charts every where, it says I have bipolar disorder and an unspecified personality disorder. This man is concerning and a real disgrace to psychiatry.

I personally have not had the best experience with this Dr. now would I recommend him to anyone seeking psychiatric help. I don’t want to get on here and bad mouth the guy, I’m just stating he has not been very helpful and I’ve been in therapy for 14+ years and doing well. When I moved to the area he was one of the closest Doctors who was taking new patients and obviously I needed to continue my medications. I believe I’ve now been a patient of his for 2.5 years and I’ m in the process of trying to switch to another Novant practice and he’s not being very helpful with the whole thing. He’s actually not been responding to my MyChart messages. So overall, just pick a different Dr. and save yourself the trouble

Very polite. Horrible office scheduling. Waited 1 1/2 hours past scheduled appointment time. 3 visits - each visit had to re-explain while we were there. NO Patient -Doctor connection. Doesn't truly listen to patient needs. Pharmaceutical Guinea pig. Let's try this Rx non-stop Allergic reactions. Only input-stop taking medication. No help or guidance.

I am so happy with the care Dr ajayi has given my husband. We were very overwhelmed with his diagnosis and Dr Ajayi has been very supportive to have a resolve to find medications that will help my husband go back to a normal healthy life. He took my input very seriously in the process of my husbands reaction to the meds and he always takes his time with us and I never feel rushed. When my husband was not happy with the one med he gave him, Dr Ajayi was very quick to get him in to see what was going on so he could give him something that was going to help him better . His focus has been to give medication if possible, that are non addictive and one ones that will have minimal side affects. That is what i would expect, and I feel like I can trust him.

I felt the Dr did not adequately understand my complex History or listen to my needs. He did not seem competent on pharmacology other than what he read on the computer. Definitely not an adult Dr. 3 months wasted on this appointment. Very upset!

Dr. Bamidele A Ajayi was incompassionate, dismissive, and unprofessional. He talked over every answer I tried to give. A sad addition to the psychiatric community. I would absolutely NOT recommend him under any circumstances. He was NO HELP when I needed it most. I was visibly distraught when I left his office, and he sent me into traffic.
