Dr. Bani A Sarma, MD

I was Dr. Sarma's Patient for over 14 years. In past couple of years, I visited her office for different symptoms and I was given antibiotics and vaginal creams without doing more investigation to find the actual reason. She could not diagnose me with endometriosis condition which led to all different symptoms that I had. A different specialist diagnose my condition by simply ordering an ultrasound. Unfortunately as a result of her negligence, I lost one of my ovaries and uterus. For over 12 years after I gave birth, she never ordered any ultrasound. She always told me you are fine!

I have never been to a doctor whose incompetence and flagrant insensitivity is both shocking and disturbing.

Uncaring, condescending, rude, patronizing, uncommunicative, horrible experience!

Dr. Sarma lacks the knowledge, integrity, and care necessary to be an effective physician. During my first (and only, might I add) visit, she demonstrated no interest in my condition. Her tone was condescending and patronizing, and her exam was rushed, lacking thoroughness and professionalism. I have since filed formal complaints.

I'm in the middle of my pregnancy and I am having a nightmare of an experience with Dr. Sarma! She has NO knowledge on anything. She does not give any advice, spends less than 3 minutes with me each time, has not attended a single ultrasound, and takes NO interest in my pregnancy. I am discontinuing with her and will not recommend her to anyone.

I have been going to Dr. Sarma for years. She is a nice person and a very good doctor. I have always had a positive experience at her office, as much as you can at a gyn. I send all my friends to her.

Very unprofessional. She dosen't have time for patients. It takes weeks to get appointment and then a mid wife attends you.In case of emergency, you are asked to see a mid wife.

Dr. Sarma is wonderful! I had both my pregnancies with her and was extremely satisfied. I have noticed her office staff to be not very friendly or helpful may be because they are extremely busy and also sometimes I have waited more than an hour for an appointment
