Dr. Bao-Thuong K Bui, MD

My experience with Dr. Bui was excellent, she made my fiance and I feel completely at ease given the extremely emotional circumstances! I am so grateful to have been in her hands, as well as the others that worked in the OR with her that morning. It was my first surgical procedure and I was so nervous, until she came in and completely put me at ease, from her tone to her obvious knowledge and of course her absolutely courteous manner. She went beyond my expectations, from making sure we knew our opinions, to showing us compassion for our unexpected and unfortunate loss. She carefully explained the "what if's" and made sure all my questions were answered to the fullest prior to the procedure. Another example of her great work: she made sure I had no extra scarring by going through my existing stretch marks. I would definitely recommend Dr. BT Bui! Thank you Dr. Bui, we are truly grateful!

Dr. Bui was very informative and to the point, allowing me to make sound decisions that best suited my personal needs.

Opinionated and a horrible listener. Criticized her own colleague.

We had an emergency situation and needed some information quickly from the doctor. She did not follow up with us even after calling 3 times. Seems not to care.

She's nice and confident. I recommend her.

Really bad bedside manner. So into herself, she forgets to pay attention to what the patient is saying.

Dr. Bui was/is my ob/gyn. She performed the cesarean birth of my third child (my second c-section). I had a bad experience with my first c-section, but the one performed by Dr. Bui was wonderful. She is amazing. Her bedside manner is wonderful. making appointments is difficult, but that is the fault of Kaiser, not Dr. Bui. I would give her my highest recommendation.
