I found this site as I was looking for Dr. Adams' address. I am totally shocked about the negative comments regarding Dr. Adams. She saved my son's life. We did spend many weeks searching for a diagnosis and they did keep putting me off. When my son was admitted to the ICU at Mott's he was virtually hours away from death. Dr. Adams was called in and with one look at my son she diagnosed him. Because of her he is alive and well today. Her associates and office personnel are not friendly or helpful at all which is why it took so long to diagnose my son. Getting an appointment in a timely manner is out of the question. So, while I agree with many of the comments that have been posted I did not have that experience with Dr. Adams herself but with her staff and office. I NEVER EVER had a problem or issue with Dr. Adams herself.

She doesn't listen to her parents, will not call if your child is in the ER and under her care even if her office is 100 feet away from the ER, her bedside manner is awful and God forbid if you try to provide her with medical insight. She is extremely rude and missed a diagnosis of our son.

Would never take a strangers child to see her. Does not listen to the problems and actually said we're not the doctor for!!!!!!!!!! But handed me her business card and said call me if you figure out what is wrong with him.

My overall experience was a complete disappointment - a waste of my time and money. Dr. Adams does not listen or answer my questions. She avoided the real issues I was having and made my pain and other symptoms seem insignificant.

The whole U of M Hospital experience is not all it is cracked up to be. Scheduling an appointment is rediculous I could not get my daughter an appointment for any earlier than 2&1/2 months. She treated my teenage daughter like she was 5years old. We are NOT GOING BACK!!
