Dr. Barbara Lee Atwood, MD

Dr Atwood has always taken time with me and is very thorough. I may wait a bit to get in, but I figure she is answering the previous patient’s questions, just like when she sees me. I have the highest confidence in her!

Staff are so rude and not patient. I was looking for a family doctor, then I scheduled a new patient appointment to Dr. Atwood, at the same time I also scheduled a flu shot. However, on the appointment day, they told me they cannot do the flu shot! What??? are you kidding me? And then I went back home. A few days later, I received the bill $240 and the insurance only covered $13! I asked the insurance company, they replied due to the type of the bill they cannot cover it. They can cover it only if the clinic rebill as a "preventive" type. When I went to the doctor's office, I wasn't sick and only to register as a new patient there. So I think maybe the clinic's can rebill it. Then my nightmare came, they told me they cannot rebill...... and they are very rude. In addition, they cannot sent the bill to my EMAIL. They only use mail! What!!! I won't go there anymore, totally disappointed. If you are looking for a doctor, please don't go there. In addition, the clinic only open… from 10:00 am Monday to Thursday. You cannot schedule appointment before you go to work, which is too inconvenient

Dr. Atwood's staff was very responsive when I needed extra help from them. Dr. Atwood herself is very supportive and does not make me feel rushed. She takes the time she needs to make me feel heard. The wait time could be better...but she is worth it in my opinion.

Dr. Attwood always have time for me to ask questions about my health and to get answers.

Dr. Atwood is an outstanding doctor--one of the best I have ever had. She is not only knowledgeable, she goes the extra mile to get the right diagnosis. I recommend her highly!

Great "bedside" manner, ,thorough but efficient. Made me feel very comfortable.

My husband and I "fired" her after 7 years.

I called to get my daughter in. The nurse I talked to on a hotline told me I should have her see her primary care doctor (had to call a hotline because after leaving a message for the nurse at this office and not hearing back, I thought I needed to speak to someone with some credentials other than the receptionist who told me I needed to take my daughter to the ER and that they were booked). They hemmed and hawed when I called back for an appointment and said they were busy and that they haven't seen my daughter for two years. I told them the reason they haven't is because they can never fit her in when she needs to be seen. The office staff got into arguing with me that I was told to go to the ER earlier when I called. Funny, my daugher survived all day without the ER and when I took her to a walk in clinic as I am always forced to resort to, they were not at all alarmed. It was clearly not an emergency.

I would never see ths Dr.again
