Dr. Barbara Anne Bellaire, MD

Horrible bedside manner and if you ever have questions for her don't waste your time because she will belittle and make fun of you for your stupid questions. I was terrified as my placenta was detaching and was asking her what to expect through the rest of my pregnancy. She ended up walking out on me and told me she wasn't going to repeat herself to me. Let me add, She made me feel dumb and I'm not dumb.I ended up in a very dangerous position because of the way she discharged me. I never should have been discharged and came dangerously close to dying because of it.

Currently seeing Dr. Bellaire for my second pregnancy (she was also my primary for the first) and we couldn't be happier with her. She always takes time to answer questions whether that be at the appointment or a follow-up call later. Along with the other doctors at this clinic, Dr. Bellaire is fantastic and we wouldn't think of going to anyone else!

I came to the Methodist in labor and was treated with utmost disrespect by this Doctor: Some of her comments:- "It's people like you who create lawsuits for us" - "If you wanted care like this you should have hired a midwife" Unfair comment towards midwives. - I was told later by another Doctor that she pretty much told other doctors / staff that I was a monster, that I didn't care about my baby and was likely on drugs. (not true in any way, and this other doctor told me to hold Dr. Bellaire accountable for her actions))Please share my story.

Went to see her twice, both times waited over 30 minutes in room before she finally came in. Bedside manner is awful- laughed at the fact I was petite and told me I'd have a horribly uncomfortable pregancy- at 20 weeks!! 2nd time I went to her told me I was impossible to measure, never once had that comment or any concerns for that matter with any other doctor. Pregnancy has been flawless so far at 36 weeks!

Dr. Bellaire is an amazing doctor. She makes eye contact, takes the time to listen, is patient, and makes you feel comfortable. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

She is always caring and friendly to me. Gives me and my baby the best possible care!

Dr. Bellaire delivered my son. Her bedside manner was awful. She talked down to my WONDERFUL nurse and didn't call me by name during the entire delivery, I was "sweetie." She also refused to come up for my son's delivery for 30 minutes because she was eating and her shift was over soon and another doctor would be taking over. Needless, to say I refused to see her for my follow up appointment. I was NOT impressed with Dr. Bellaire at all.
