Dr. Barbara Hauptly Bentz

I was seeing her for awhile. I live in Poconos, was a drive to get there. She was training a student the day I had appointment. I asked about a gene I was told I had, MTHFR C677t, I was surprised when she said she didn't know what it was. She had to look it up. It has to do with hyperlipidemia, you would think she would have known it. She did order a test, echo, and blood test for lipids. She seemed to act like she was humoring me by ordering the tests. I later went to LabCorp to get bloodworm done. About a month later, she gives me a call saying I'm good with my test, I asked about the bloodwork, she told me she never ordered that? I thought I was crazy, I told her I asked about that gene and she ordered bloodwork. She told me no, she didn't know anything about that gene. After that call, I checked labcorps portal to see if I was crazy or what? It showed that I did have it done and my lipids were high. I called her office to complain, of course they offer excuses for her, I had… even left a voicemail on her phone telling her I had bloodwork done at LabCorp. Never returned a call. If you aske is she worth going to, id say no, I was hoping to get my daughter in to see her, she has connective problems and I was told to get checked first by another Dr there, but I would rather her go elsewhere, where they care about patients and don't humor them and treat their real concerns. This Dr. Doesn't seem to know anything.,or care.
