Dr. Barbara Ann Center, MD

This is a person who provides services to insurance companies to help them evade their duties of insuring their clients, and denying much needed services for children and adolescents, some of the most vulnerable people in our society. I am filing a complaint with the board of physicians of Wisconsin in order to cancel her medical license. I would encourage others to file complaints against her with the State of Wisconsin and with the Board of Physicians,

â?¦.besides the fact that she can afford the finest bed money can buy with the scam sheâ??s running! This individual is PAID TO DENY claims for people in desperate need of care, particularly those needing an intense level of mental health services. She is contracted by Medicaid oversight/management agencies in NC (even though sheâ??s from Wisconsin and has frequent lapses in her â??licenseâ?? in NC) and then used as the final authority when said agencies don't want to dip into their budget to truly help meet a child's needs. She denies claims left and right without even reviewing the medical necessity documented by doctors and individuals that ACTUALLY WORK WITH THE CLIENTS SHE'S DENYING SERVICES FOR. In other words, even though Dr. Center has NEVER met or even spoken with the clients whose information she's reviewing, her decision trumps that of the very doctors that serve the clients day in and day out. How ironic that in a field where treatment is supposed to be… person-centered, a "doctor" with the last name "Center" never approves any services. VERY, VERY, SAD.

She is not up to date. She does mostly insurance claims, She is well known to deny claims and make errors. She has been sued for those. Stay far away from Dr. Denial.

This shill works for insurance companies denying care to children who need treatment. She never ever meets thrm before denying care.
