Dr. Croft is easy to talk to about any concerns I have. She is caring, concerned and has been very helpful.

Dr. Croft is an outstanding physician.She is bright, sensitive,and an exceptional diagnostician. She has alwaysbeen kind enough to fit me into her busyschedule when I am ill. I can't thank her enough for being the kind of person she is. What a wonderful DOCTOR!

I have been a patient of Dr. Croft's for 20 years. She is by far the best doctor I have. She is so highly thought of that my primary care physician not only uses her but takes her daughter to her. She is unique in seeing her patients in their street clothes for a discussion and assessment of how they're doing before she does the actual exam. I drive 60 miles 1-way through Atlanta rush-hour traffic to use her; THAT's how good she is.

Dr. Barbara Croft has been my gynecologist for over 20 years. She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and caring. She was my surgeon for uterine fibroids a few years ago and the experience couldn't have been more positive!

I have seen dr. croft for over 15 years and have had nothing but positive experiences. She always takes time to hear my concerns prior to an examination, addresses those concerns thoroughly and makes appropriate recommendations. She has never acted in a manner than is anything less than professional and ethical. Her staff is courteous and wait time has always been minimal. Dr. Croft cares enough about patients to provide information regarding health issues (weight, HRT, risks/benefits of birth control measures, etc) that perhaps some are uncomfortable with, but I am grateful that she cares enough to be honest about all the options. She is one of them most intelligent and well informed doctors I have come in contact with-and I am grateful for her care.

My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Croft for my fibroid's that need to be monitored.She was o.k. the first visit. On subsequent visits she was patronizing,didn't explain things thoroughly and was brash and abrasive.She tried to push HRT therapy on me,despite the fact at that time(2 years ago) I had no problems or symptoms associated with menopause.Flash forward to 2010.I am in the beginning of menopause and I now I am having some issues.I go see her and she berated me when I asked questions about all the different HRT she wanted to put me on.She said "that's the most stupid question I've ever heard".I was shamed and felt timid after her outburst. During the pelvic exam,she said without a doubt probably the crudest, most obscene comment about me.I was dumbfounded,hurt and pretty shaken up.I told my ex husband who is in the medical field.He told me to write a letter to Piedmont Hospital and to her because it is a gross violation of medical ethics to speak that way to a… patient.When I asked her to do blood work(for hormones)before putting me on high dose HRT meds,she pretended she didn't hear me and refused.She is a witch doctor! I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy!

I was very displeased with my first visit to Dr. Croft. She went into a diatribe about the areas for which I see an endocrinologist. She made broad statements without asking or knowing that my A1Cs have been below 6 (with one exception of a 6.4) for three and a half years. She criticized my imminent change to a non-Piedmont endocrinologist. She has a really poor bedside manner and little sensitivity. She made a sarcastic remark about one gyn concern I had.

I have been a patient of Dr. Croft's for many years. She has always seen me on time, taken as much time with me as I needed, and explained any diagnosis or treatment options clearly. She recently performed an LAVH on me. All of my conversations pre-op with Dr. Croft were frank, not rushed, compassionate and left me well informed and well prepared for the surgery. The surgery went extremely well, and my recovery process has been amazing. Her staff has followed up with me by phone twice, and has been immediately available when I've called with questions. She took a lot of time immediately after surgery answer my family's questions. I could not ask for a better physician.
